Additional required documents for minors
Additional required documents for minors (under 18):
- Notarized letter of authorization.A letter of authorization signed by both parents or legal guardians. This letter should also include the name of the adult who will be responsible for the children in United Kingdom. If the minor is traveling with only one parent, custody documents or a letter of authorization from the other non-accompanying parent is required. If the Custody papers were issued by a Court, then those papers have already been legalized..
• Birth certificate. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.
• Parents’ passport copies. A copy of the information pages of both parents’ signed passports.
If you’re under 18 years old when you apply, your long-term visit visa will only be valid for up to 6 months after you turn 18.
You’ll also need to provide a certified translation of any documents that aren’t in English or Welsh.

All international arrivals to England, including UK nationals, required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours prior to departure. Passengers will be subject to an immediate fine of £500 if they fail to comply with the new regulations on pre-departure testing.
All travel corridors for people arriving in England are suspended. All passengers arriving from countries not on the government’s travel corridor list will still be required to self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of test result passengers will still be required to fill in a passenger locator form and be subject to national lockdown restrictions.
Citizens of Nepal require a Direct Airside Transit visa. At this time, Global Visa.com is unable to assist in obtaining this type of visa. Please contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate of United Kingdom to apply.
If you will be changing airports or passing through Immigration Control to reach your connecting flight, you will need to obtain a Visitor In Transit visa. Please contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate of United Kingdom to apply.
If you will be passing through United Kingdom on your way to or from Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man, you will need to apply for a Tourist visa, even if you will not be leaving the Transit area of the airport.
United Kingdom airport transit visa is required for citizens of Nepal.
Unfortunately, at this time Global Visa does not provide service for airport transit visas to United Kingdom.
